Abstract
The complex symmetric CF3 stretching chromophore absorption in CF3I was studied using high resolution rovibrational analysis. Pulsed slit jet diode laser spectra of CF3I at rotational temperature of 7, 30, and 70 K was obtained. It is found that the hyperfine structure of transition 3 in the given compound expands over a region of 0.015 cm-1.
