    Abstract

We describe a method for calibrating the absolute position of highly asymmetric objects relative to the trapping center using synchronous high speed position sensing and acouto-optic beam switching. This technique applied to study the Brownian dynamics of semiconductor nanowires with different dimensions in a polydispersed suspension.
