Abstract
Tunable and temporal characteristics of Ho3+-doped silica fibre laser in different configurations were described. Wavelength tuning over 160 nm was demonstrated and a 4.3-W single-transverse-mode 2.1-μm output power was obtained for a 0.6-m Ho3+ fibre.
