Abstract
The article discusses the highlights of the fourth annual conference of Historical Perspectives Perception, Depiction and Description: Writing History held at the University of Glasgow in Scotland in May 2008. The conference was attended by 55 postgraduates from across Great Britain and Ireland. Its team was intended to allow speakers and delegates to explore the process of writing history. The range of topics explored at the conference highlight the diversity within historical studies in Great Britain.
