Abstract
We report a hybrid integrated source of heralded photons at telecom wavelengths. We have combined high efficiency periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) waveguides, low-loss laser inscribed circuits and fibre Bragg gratings. We show the quality of the laser written components to be sufficient to produce high quality heralded single photons.
