Abstract
A bebop-style small group jazz composition. Originally composed for a saxophone and drum duet.
Although this composition can be played as a straight-ahead bebop piece, the inspiration behind the composition comes more from the work of Bernie McGann and John Pochée, particularly McGann's trio with Pochée and Lloyd Swanton.
This performance took place on 12th September 2008 at The Studio, Sydney Opera House as part of the Jazz:Now festival. Composition performed by Andrew Robson/alto saxophone & John Pochée/drums.
