Abstract

This action research project addresses issues of grammatical inaccuracies and range in writing through individualised study plans with two classes of adult A2 CEFR students. The students were gradually scaffolded towards self-correction and autonomy through a process of learning-oriented assessment and classroom tasks. Through the project, the students became more self-sufficient in learning, improved their grammatical accuracy in range and gained motivation to write.
