Incorporating Indigenous perspectives through the Kin and Country Framework

Research output: Contribution to journalArticle

Abstract

In education, there is a lot of talk (and policy) about incorporating Indigenous perspectives. It's something all teachers are expected to do, no matter their subject area or year level. Yet, this can be tricky in practice, with many non-Indigenous teachers feeling ill-equipped to include Indigenous perspectives in respectful, non-tokenistic ways (Bishop and Durksen, 2020; Moreton-Robinson et al., 2012). How do you feel about embedding Indigenous perspectives into your teaching?
