Abstract
This chapter explains how present and past employees can pose a greater threat in the light of the emergence of collaborative and convergent technologies and what HR managers can do to safeguard information security and privacy in collaboration with IT departments. It describes the importance, legal aspects, and best practices in maintaining and promoting safe information-handling procedures.
