Abstract

A report of the meeting and of the presentations made at the 2005 TSA Innovation Address by the CEO of NICTA, Dr. David Skellern is presented. Dr. David concerned himself with economic growth, productivity, innovation and research and development. The emphasis in developing ideas into products was on customer focus in NICTA. Dr. Skellern noted that a strong research base required a well supported education sector and involvement from industry.
