Abstract

Cross-cultural differences exacerbate problems not only in negotiation processes and communication but also in relationship building and conflict management among all stakeholders. Professionals around the world do not possess the cultural competence to communicate across cultures. This chapter outlines a multilevel conceptual framework to understand the relationship between culture and conflict to minimise conflicts and elect an appropriate resolution strategy for management of conflicts.
