Abstract

Interest in disability as an axis of identity, lived experience, and oppression is increasing, although currently behind the awareness of race, gender, and class, in Classics. At a time when the rights of disabled people are a focus of attention worldwide, we believe that discussion of disability across the cultural and political spheres is necessary even in fields that deal with the ancient past.
