    This chapter explores the diverse range of Australian films with diasporic experience and the relationship between societal migration and the industry. It also examines the genres of documentary, short, and experimental films, the multiculturalism from the failure of social assimilation, and the awareness of diasporic identities and contributions to Australian cinema.
