Krleža i Andrić, lokalna i globalna identifikacija: fikcionalizacija faktografskog; poetika kao (i) politika

This paper is a continuation of a study that deals with a problem of national identities in works of Miroslav Krleža and Ivo Andrić that is published in previous issue of Lingua Montenegrina (5/2010). The major issue of concern in this paper is the problem of fictionalization of factional discourse and generic models of different approaches to the problem of (hi)story of national identities in a work of two 'national bards', that is, most important authors in Croatian and Serbian contemporary literature. In a centre of this research project is a problem of global and local identification in a polyphonic voices of two authorial intentions, as well as the influence of 'real' positioning of Ivo Andrić and Miroslav Krleža on a historic matter of concern. This is an issue concerned with decoding the semantic layer that influences 'universal values' and the concept of its naturalization in fictional text of above mentioned authors. The question of local and global positioning is in a centre of research attention in this paper. In this context, the important issue becomes the dynamic relationship between political and poetic focalization in regards to the issues that are in a focus of attention in text, that is the issues of identity, otherness, colonial dependence and a possible positioning 'in spite' of this traditionally built expectations. In their narrative tactics both authors in question are concern with matters 'they are not rely concerned with' in order to manipulate the order of power relations in relation to the issues discussed and in texts and the 'order of things' in the environment of countries (communities) they were living and 'telling the(ir) stories in. This provides a new outlook on the problem of 'the narration of the nation' in wider global environment in which authors such are Andrić and Krleža definitely belong to. The question of global identification and local positioning are in a centre of concern in this research project. To understand this process will, I argue, contribute greatly in a process of dynamic and controversial relationship between local cultures and value systems better.
