Abstract

In this paper, a reflectarray antenna consists of an offset-fed is designed for Ku-band applications. The unit cell comprises of modified cross-shaped element along with quad-circular delay-lines. The dimensions of delay-lines are varied to obtain the broad phase range. A low-cost FR-4 laminate is used to design the reflectarray unit cell with 0.45λo periodicity. The far-field radiation characteristics are obtained by simulating a 15×15 reflectarray while keeping the F/D=1. A gain of 28 dBi is achieved for E and H-planes.
