Laser pulses with Quantum-Random Polarisation

Abstract

We report the generation of Raman laser pulses in diamond with quantum-random polarisation, whereby laser pulses exhibit a coherent, well-defined, linear polarisation with an orientation that is random from pulse to pulse.
