Abstract
Investigations of field geology, petrography and geochemistry confirm that Pingtan igneous complex was generated by mechanical mingling and partially by chemical mixing in different degrees of the high-alumina basaltic magma and granitic magma. The understanding of the petrogenesis of this complex would give us a new idea for studying the problems about the closely temporal and spatial association of basic and acidic rocks in the Late Mesozoic calc-alkaline province in SE-China.
