Abstract

Eight species of agglutinated foraminiferans are reported from a limestone lens in the Cowombat Fmn at its type locality, Cowombat Flat, on the Victoria-New South Wales border. Hyperammina teres, Saccammina cyclops, Stomasphaera globosa, and Sagenina filiformis are new. Ten multi-element conodont species from the same lens include the temporally significant Ozarkodina crispa, O. confluens, Belodella anomalis, and Pedavis ?thorsteinssoni. The horizon is dated at latest Ludlow, crispus Zone, apparently early in the zone. -from Authors
