Abstract

Goodchild, a young writer, lands home in Sydney from Paris. Haunted by the ghosts of love and death, Goodchild is pushed to the edge of everything. Independent feature, written, produced and directed by Alex Munt. Dramaturg Kathryn Millard.

LBF is a feature film (drama) - A pop-art film based on the novel ‘Living Between Fucks’ by Cry Bloxsome. Goodchild, a young writer, lands back home, direct from Paris, to attend his ex-girlfriend’s funeral, The Dead Girl. At an afternoon motel party he encounters The Beautiful Financial Backer who works in advertising. At the wake she commissions him to write ‘The Love Enterprise’. The past and present collide as Goodchild slides through a hot Australian summer. Haunted by the twin ghosts of love and death, he is pushed to his very limits. LBF is a modern story of love, loss and desperation. The film was selected to World Premiere at the prestigious South By SouthWest (SXSW) Film Festival in Austin, Texas. LBF was one of 140 feature films selected from a total of 1792 entries. LBF had its Australian Premiere at the prestigious Sydney Film Festival, selected from 683 Australian/New Zealand film submissions. LBF will be distributed by Cinetic Media in a worldwide territory in 2011. Running time: 65mins.
