    Abstract

This article proposes a first assessment on the study of Neolithic and Predynastic periods in Wadi ‘Araba. Within the framework of a new survey project organised on behalf of Ifao, new data already offer promising perspectives. The discovery of a new PPNB site in the Eastern Desert sheds new light on connections between Nile Valley and Levant during the early Neolithic.
