Abstract
The petrological data of the Laouni area are very different from those of the northern part of the Hoggar Massif. At Laouni, ultrabasic-basic layered bodies intruded a HT/LP metamorphic series and granites. These features hardly agree with the Himalayan-type collision which has been proposed for the northern part of the Hoggar, but on the contrary are consistent with extension during the Pan-African ages. It is supposed that this extensional regime existed in the southern part of the Central Hoggar. There is an abridged English version. -English summary
