Abstract

Significant lead isotope differences exist in four styles of stratiform and stratabound mineralization selected for study in the Broken Hill Block. The four lead isotope patterns are also detected in soils and ironstones, and are thus useful in exploration. The 208Pb/ 206Pb and 207Pb/ 206Pb are the more sensitive and discriminatory ratios. -G.J.N.
