    Abstract

The degree of polymorphism, P, and the average heterozygosity, Hobs. (proportion of heterozygous loci) were correlated to different life cycle types in aphids. The species Macrosiphum rosae, Aphis pomi, Myzus persicae, Rhopalosiphum maidis, Schoutedenia lutea, and Sitobion avenae were considered. 1989 Blackwell Verlag GmbH
