    Abstract

The article presents the use of optical parametric oscillator (OPO) devices and applications on linear and nonlinear optical spectroscopic analysis. The importance of these devices were realized until recently due to availability of new nonlinear optical materials, high quality pump lasers and new methods to wavelength control.
