Abstract
In the Linnean Society there is a previously unidentified drawing of Acacia verticillata, made by Linnaeus the Younger in London in 1781–1782—apparently the first-known illustration of the juvenile foliage of any phyllodinous species of Acacia. Such foliage was later noted, for the first time in print, by L’Héritier in his 1789 description of the same species, such that the typification of that is here amended.
