Abstract

Luminescent nanodiamond is attractive for targeted drug delivery and biolabelling due to its unique optical properties, low cytotoxicity, and biocompatible surface moieties. Advances in production of single-digit luminescent nanodiamonds will be reported. We will present a versatile bioconjugation protocol to dock biomolecules on the colloidal diamond, leading to demonstration of non-specific and specific internalisations in cells.
