Abstract
The article delves into the growing cases of solo motherhood by choice based on the documentary film "Maverick Mother." It shows the author's experiences as a solo mother by choice and chance, including the initial stages of planning and conception, the natural birth, and her son's meeting with his genetic father. The film explores the economic and professional challenges of a solo mother and analyzes the issue of older educated women being single and childless. Also recounted are the presentation of "Maverick Mother" during film festivals.
