Abstract

The present disclosure relates generally to methods for modulating the expression of a heterologous transgene administered to a cell, and to nucleic acid constructs useful in such methods. The present disclosure also relates to the use of the nucleic acid constructs for enhancing motor neuron survival, inhibiting motor neuron degeneration and treating neurodegenerative conditions.
