Abstract
This composition is inspired by early jazz and blues styles with a strong influences from the early work of Duke Ellington and early jazz rhythmic feels. These are approaches that the World According to James have often hinted at so this composition is a more deliberate attempt to push the ensemble into these areas.
Instrumentation: Alto saxophone, trombone, piano, tuba (bass), drums.
