Monolithic waveguide-laser created using the direct write technique

Abstract

We report the optical characteristics of a monolithic waveguidelaser structure based on the direct write technique. The laser, which incorporated waveguide-Bragg gratings within the doped guide structure, produced narrow linewidth laser output in the C-band.
