Abstract
The QoS aware routing in mobile ad hoc networks is a challenge and over a decade, the research towards discovery of QoS aware routing protocols for mobile ad hoc networks is carried in magnitude speed. Due to the rapid changes in ad hoc infrastructure and technical specifications of the ad hoc nodes, it is obvious to redefine the routing strategies in minimal span of time. The raise of quality in routing is essential factor among the other contexts such as security. The initial benchmarking routing topologies aimed to achieve routing optimality towards successful data delivery from source to destination node. Even some of the routing topologies aimed to achieve the raise of quality in other QoS factors such as energy efficiency, bit rate utilization, but they limited to one or two QoS factors. Hence the majority of the work in current research aimed to define ad hoc routing topologies with increased QoS. In order to this, we defined a multi objective QoS aware and energy efficient routing (MOEEQR) protocol for mobile ad hoc network. The proposed routing protocol is assessing the optimal route using Genetic Algorithm, which is an evolutionary Computational strategy. Unlike other benchmarking models, our model is aimed to identify an energy efficient route with the rise of quality under other QoS factors such as bit rate, link stability and end-to-end delay. The performance analysis under simulations evincing that the proposed model is best in its class of routing protocols.
