Abstract

The design of multibeam antennas and the construction methods employed were presented. A square main reflector 4.5m in size was chosen to meet the gain and sidelobe specifications. The corners of the reflector were truncated to enhance the appearance of the main reflector. A feed horn was used in the design to cover the receive Ku-band frequencies 10.7 to 12.75 GHz.
