Multiwavelength ultrafast LiNbO3 Raman laser with cascaded terahertz-wave generation

Abstract

We demonstrate an ultrafast LiNbO3 Raman laser to extend the wavelength versatility of a 1064 nm mode-locked laser. We generate new wavelengths in the infrared, as well as using polariton scattering to generate terahertz output.
