Abstract
The analysis of cumulative frequency distribuitons of all nearest neighbour distance values provides a form of point pattern analysis more powerful than any based on summary statistics alone. A valid and reliable approach can be based on the normality of the distribution of the square roots of distance values in random patterns. -Author
