    Abstract

    Composed for and dedicated to the great Australian altoist Bernie McGann. The premiere performance of this composition took place on Saturday 27 June 2015 and featured Andrew Robson (alto saxophone), Sandy Evans (tenor saxophone), Warwick Alder (trumpet), Brendan Clarke (double bass) and Andrew Dickeson (drums). Performed as part of the 'Celebrating Bernie McGann' concert at the Seymour Centre in Sydney. Supported by the Sydney Improvised Music Association.

    Instrumentation: Jazz Quintet: 3 horns (alto saxophone, tenor saxophopne, trumpet), double bass, drums. (piano or guitar is optional and can be added if required)
    Duration: 8 min.
    Difficulty: Medium — A simple waltz melody with solos over the harmonic form.
