Abstract
The work reviews protection methods against compromising of statistical data bases. Attention has been paid to two methods and their quality has been given. The first method consists of imposing constraints on data items sets for queries permitted in the data base. The second method is closely connected with splitting data base relations into disjoined subsets and it gives the user's access only to a priori fixed subsets of data items.
