Abstract
An opto-VLSI-based dynamic optical power splitter structure is proposed and demonstrated. By reconfiguring the phase hologram of an opto-VLSl processor, 1:N arbitrary optical power splitting can be achieved. A reconfigurable 1:3 fibre-to-fibre optical splitter with more than 25 dB dynamic output range is experimentally verified.
