Abstract

Series of photographic works on invocations of 'Country'. 'Over rooftops, under sky; the sea' is from a series of still images and videos that explore what it is to be away from Country. The broader work, of country (in-progress), explores boundaries and borders, and how they are defined and reconfigured by Indigenous Peoples and Communities internationally. This work is a part of a sub-series focusing on coast, land and sky and the built environment, and the way that these boundary formations both bring us together and isolate us.
