Abstract

We present results of detailed numerical analysis of phase dynamics in charge qubits based on coupled quantum dots. The Chebyshev-Fourier expansion of the propagation operator is employed since it provides the accuracy required for phase calculations. Our results show that phase leakage found in previous studies is an anomaly associated with the simulation process. Details of the design of quantum phase gates is also presented.
