Abstract
The photon statistics of light emitted from a system, comprising a single four-level atom strongly coupled to a high-finesse optical cavity mode, was discussed. For intermediate driving strengths, a sudden change was found in the photon statistics of the light emitted from the cavity. The analysis showed that the sudden changes in photon statistics occurred due to existence of robust quantum interference of transitions between dressed states of the atom cavity systems.
