    Abstract

A rigorous solution for the scattering problem of a braided cylindrical shield due to an incident plane wave is presented. The scattering problem is solved using the semi-analytic Method of Regularization. Therefore, the solution computed enjoys the properties of guaranteed accuracy and fast convergence. Numerical validations of the proposed algorithm and study of the required truncation number are presented.
