Abstract
Scenes sculpted on two large boulders located in the region of Īzeh/Mālamīr include a group of four kneeling platform bearers atop which is found the representation of a large male figure. The significance and dating of this imagery remains the source of much hypothetical discussion. This study re-examines the characteristics of the platform bearers and joins the chronological debate arguing in favour of a Neo-Elamite date.
