Abstract

Potassium-argon dating of whole-rock contact zones from 27 Precambrian mafic dikes in Wyoming suggests several periods of intrusion in the time interval 700 to 2500 m.y. A widespread period at 1900 to 2200 m.y. is suggested by the data.
