Abstract
An efficient computer program for the analysis of dual-shaped-reflector antennas is described. This is used to predict the crosspolarization of a typical earth station antenna. Employing a feed with intrinsic crosspolarization, it is shown that the crosspolar performance of the antenna may be reflector depolarization limited. The effect of subreflector beam steering on the crosspolar response is discussed. 6 refs.
