    Abstract

Focuses on primary prevention programs aimed either directly or indirectly at anxiety or associated problems. Consideration is also given to the components of an ultimate, if not slightly idealistic, primary prevention program that would truly be population-wide, rather than offered just to isolated groups. Finally, some cautions are raised regarding the implementation of primary prevention programs for anxiety.
