    Abstract

It has been widely recognised that early Greek migrant settlers worked extremely hard to achieve the security needed for them to survive and prosper in the new-found homeland. What is lesser known, is that they also celebrated with the same intensity and gusto that they brought to their work. This article provides a much needed historical and contemporary insight.
