Abstract

This chapter examines the fundamental issue of getting your work published. It begins with a revelation that even famous researchers have trouble getting their work published. The chapter then offers tips on coming up with ideas, the review process, social media and getting your work out there in data repositories. Most importantly, the chapter emphasises the benefits of having access to a great research culture.
