Quantum dynamics under the influence of external magnetic fields

Abstract

A study was performed on quantum dynamics of an electron wave packet under the influence of external electric and magnetic fields. The algorithm based on numerical integration of the time-dependent Schrödinger equation, was presented. It was found that the solution contains complete phase and spatial information of the system under study at all times.
