Quantum entropy and special relativity

Abstract

The relativistic properties of spin entropy for a single, free particle of spin 1/2 and mass m>0 were investigated. The reduced density matrix was not covariant under Lorentz transformations. Results showed that spin entropy was not a relativistic scalar with no invariant meaning.
