Abstract

In this paper fractal geometry has been implemented on a dipole antenna and fractal dipole antennas. Using numerical simulations their radial analysis has been carried out. It involves designing first two iterations of fractal Koch curve dipole antenna of the chosen antenna length i.e. 200mm, 150mm and 61.22mm corresponding to the frequencies 750MHz, 1GHz and 2.45GHz respectively, changing their radii and finally analyzing its behavior for antenna parameters like bandwidth, operating frequency and return loss. Different trends have been observed in the behavior of bandwidth and operating frequency. Generally increasing behavior of bandwidth and decreasing behavior of operating behavior has been observed with increasing radius.
